Danielle Cohn Is Building a Life Around Self-Care
Playboy Club Creator Danielle Cohn has a practical answer when asked what confidence looks like: get up, work out, and start the day feeling like she has already done something for herself. Sometimes confidence isn’t a grand speech, but instead a routine. These routines are where a lot of her bigger ambitions begin. The Playboy Club Creator describes herself as a small-business owner who creates content alongside her day-to-day work. Her business centers women’s self-care, a subject that connects directly to how she talks about beauty, independence and the kind of work she wants to do next. For Danielle, Playboy Club represents self-love and the freedom to embrace beauty without apologizing for it. That fits neatly beside her business, but it is not the whole story as she is also thinking seriously about psychology and has started her own podcast.

Psychology Is More Than a Passing Interest
Danielle’s dream degree is psychology. She says she hopes to become a therapist and would teach a class about mental health if given the chance. Her goals carry a little more weight than the standard “I love helping people” line. She’s already built part of her working life around helping women prioritize themselves. Studying psychology would give that instinct a more formal direction, especially around mental illness and the tools people use to handle difficult periods.
It is an ambitious path to balance with content creation and a business, but Dani has made it pretty clear that she doesn’t like getting trapped into a single lane or archetype.
Horseback Riding Gives Her Room to Breathe
Her newest obsession is horseback riding. She has begun taking lessons more seriously and calls those lessons some of her favorite days.
“It’s so much fun and makes me feel so free,” she says.
That sense of freedom comes up repeatedly in her answers. Working out gives her a productive start. Riding pulls her out of her usual schedule. A bath, skincare and a little quiet help her settle down at the end of it.
Country Music, Sports and Homemade Soup
Danielle is a country girl when it comes to music, with Morgan Wallen in especially heavy rotation. She also listens broadly and has recently seen Tate McRae and Katy Perry live.
Sports are just as easy a yes. She follows football and basketball and will happily go to a baseball game. At home outside of the excitement of sporting events, the pace slows considerably. She loves cooking from scratch, especially homemade soup, and gives cinnamon the edge over pumpkin spice because a warm cinnamon roll is difficult to argue with. Who wouldn’t pick a cinnamon roll over a pumpkin spice latte?
She is also, by her own admission, a hopeless romantic. People tend to read her independence as a lack of interest in romance but they are always wrong. Danielle likes the fantasy of it: a fireplace, a hot drink, a lingerie-and-robe set, and meaningful eye contact.
